Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day transportation operations and direct major projects.
• Formulate and execute transportation strategies to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods and materials.
• Oversee transportation budgets and expenses, including negotiating contracts with carriers and vendors to secure competitive rates.
• Monitor and evaluate transportation performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, transportation costs, and carrier performance, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve problems, and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Manage projects from requirements definition through deployment, including identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans with risk mitigation.
• Report project outcomes and/or risks to appropriate management channels and escalate issues as necessary according to the project plan.
• Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a transportation team.
• Knowledge of transport methods, costs, and benefits.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience overseeing P&L, managing large projects, and providing customer service support.
• Awareness of the latest industry technology trends and applications.
• Proficiency in English.
