Security Analyst

About this role

A leading global provider of cybersecurity solutions is seeking a motivated Security Analyst to protect customers through exceptional information security services. This role focuses on real-time threat analysis, advanced intrusion detection, and proactive response to security events. Your Responsibilities

  • Perform real-time threat analysis and apply intelligence insights to safeguard customers.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer interactions, ensuring professionalism and a high standard of satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with incident response, product support teams, and other roles to address security issues effectively.
  • Monitor and investigate IT security alerts, determine the origin of threats, assess the impact, and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Analyze security events from multiple sources, including endpoint detection tools, IDS, firewall logs, system logs (Unix & Windows), and more.
  • Interface with clients via chat, tickets, and phone calls to resolve issues and ensure service value.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • A client-focused approach, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • A sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure.
  • High standards of integrity and confidentiality.

Education and Experience

  • 1–3+ years of work experience in related areas such as Security Operations Centers, Network Operations Centers, IT Helpdesk support, or System Administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Network Security, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Experience in reviewing and analyzing raw log files (e.g., firewall logs, network flows, IDS logs, system logs).
  • Awareness of key Information Security concepts, including malware, emerging threats, and vulnerability management.
  • Previous customer support experience, including resolving escalations and handling security incidents.
