Dispatch Technician

A leading natural gas distribution company is seeking a detail-oriented Dispatch Technician to join their Gas Flow Department in Bucharest. This role is vital for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the natural gas distribution network.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to prepare reports for management, supporting the calculation of performance indicators as required by regulatory decisions.
• Monitor technical parameters (pressure and flow) and oversee the centralized, operational, and continuous management of the natural gas distribution process.
• Supervise teletransmission systems and manage alarms in the SCADA-AMR system.
• Identify issues within the distribution system and implement appropriate solutions.
• Maintain communication with dispatchers from other entities such as DNG, Transgaz, and ELCEN.
• Contribute to ensuring maximum safety and continuity in the natural gas supply.

Work Schedule: Rotational shifts (Monday–Sunday), 12-hour shifts alternating between 24-hour and 48-hour rest periods:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Requirements

• Secondary education (technical studies preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under time pressure.
