As a Depot Coordinator, you will manage container terminal operations, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Oversee daily depot activities, including trucking/rail operations, shift planning, and container flow within the terminal.
• Team Leadership: Manage depot personnel, create a positive work environment, and provide training on operational strategies and best practices.
• Equipment & Maintenance: Ensure the availability of equipment, maintain high service levels, and control operational costs.
• Safety & Compliance: Promote safe working practices, monitor adherence to safety protocols, and ensure compliance with operational guidelines.
• Customer Service: Deliver cost-effective operations aligned with customer requirements, enhancing service quality.
• Cost Management: Implement budget-aligned cost control measures to optimize resource utilization.
• Projects & Negotiations: Lead operations projects to improve efficiency and safety, and engage in negotiations with suppliers and customers.
• Reporting & Analysis: Monitor operational reports, stock levels, and container movements to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the container and intermodal industry (mandatory).
• A university degree.
• Strong computer skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of cargo flow processes within port facilities.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• A proactive team player with excellent problem-solving abilities.
